My Current Morning Routine!
Get Ready with me
First I hop out of bed and open the curtains, then I go to open the door to the other apartment to let the kitties come in.
I’m currently between the 2 apartments with my Mom still sleeping upstairs. Theres only 1 litter box so I leave the kitties upstairs overnight so Jasper can sleep with my Mom.
Then I go around to open the other curtains to let in some light, my apartment is currently a big disorganized mess as I continue to move things down.
I say good morning to my chirp chirps and turn on some more light for them.
I go to my bathroom and use my tongue scraper to scrape my tongue clean and then brush my teeth using Boka remineralizing toothpaste.
I wash my face with a face cloth and then my pits as well.
I use some Routine natural deodorant “like a boss” then spray some chamomile & rose hydrating facial toner, I buy these products at a local store called Corn Crib.
I walk out into the kitchen and oh no! I didn’t clean up after supper last night so now I need to clean my counters. After they are all tidied up I can start my coffee. Get the water going, then get the beans ground up, nice and fresh!
Then I go to my cupboard to grab my green drink, mix it up in a mason jar and start to drink! I love the flavour of Vegegreens Pineapple Coconut which I also get locally from Corn Crib.
I add the coffee grinds to the French press as I wait for the water to get to the perfect temperature, 95f before pouring into the pot. I use Kicking Horse Whole Coffee Beans, my favourites are medium roast Three Sisters or Hoodoo Jo
I go to my bedroom where my bed is a mess, I make my bed and tuck my sleep bonnet away. I bought my sleep bonnet with a beautiful African print from a friend on Tiktok, @KalliStyles . The home owner is coming to replace the ugly back door today, I’m excited for this beautiful new door to be put in place!
Then I check on my freezer to see if it has miraculously started to work overnight… but no, everything is thawed out. Looks like I’ll be getting another fridge too!
I make a couple coffees, bring one up for my mom and enjoy some time up on the private balcony upstairs!
