The Acorn Studio

I’m so excited about the recent inclusion of my Embroidery Art in The Acorn Studio gallery available now online and in store.

With the the precautions and lockdown effects put in place with the coronavirus outbreak, the Moncton Market has not yet re-open to artists and crafters. To continue selling locally, and add in an online option I brought in some pieces to work with the locally focused Art Gallery and Store.

Visiting the store for my first time I was so captivated by the various artists and their creations! Shannon Beers greeted me, quickly realizing we followed each other on Instagram, I’m a big fan of her beautiful underwater themed paintings. Shannon told me she loves my art as well and had previously mentioned me to the owner. Another female artist Susan Jardine was also in store and a pleasure to meet, bringing a fun splash of colour with her paintings. I went back the next day to meet Mathieu, after a chat he gladly welcomed my embroidery pieces into his store.

I have learned that when you align yourself with your truth, are doing what you love, the things meant for you will come with grace and ease. So be ready to receive and enjoy the moment when it comes.

I am so thankful for the support I have received from my community locally and online. It brings me such joy to see someone connect and fall in love with a piece of my art and want to have it in their home or to give as a gift. The in person experience of selling at the market has been a treasured experience that I have missed. This new opportunity to connect and sell my art has come at the right time, bringing along a new connection to a community of inspiring artists.
